I am a relatively new ham and have recently passed my general exam, 1/26/08.
I monitor the following frequencies/repeaters:
444.700 http://www.kb6q.com
444.525, http://www.w6fm.net/
146.700, http://www.doggieduds.biz/
I also maintain a Central Coast Ham Radio Blog at:
http://centralcoasthams.wordpress.com/
Currently I use a Kenwood mobile TM-V71A dual bander,
a Kenwood TH-F6A ,
and a Radio Shack HTX-245
with a Diamond SRH77CA after market antenna, my Lenovo lap top via EchoLink, and KB6Q’s remote to speak to the world.
This is my Ham Radio Blog, mostly for my own education, but also for any who are interested in Ham Radio here on California’s Central Coast. I hope to create a place for discussion of various Ham Radio Topics, as well as a comprehensive list of links for Ham Radio here on the Central Coast. Primarily I will use this blog as a means to further my own education about Ham Radio. Feel free to leave comments on any Ham Radio subject, as that is how I learn more about Ham Radio. If you are a Central Coast Ham operator and would like to be a contributor to this blog, feel free to email me at guy.murray@gmail.com.
